International Logistics Supervisor
Purpose and Scope/General Summary: The International Logistics Supervisor is responsible for leading and developing a high-performing international logistics team that oversees the execution of export shipments from the United States, including freezer appointments, drayage, transloads, and ocean bookings. This role ensures the efficient flow of products through the international supply chain by proactively identifying network constraints, implementing process improvements, and driving operational excellence. The Logistics Supervisor partners closely with Sales, Customers, Vendors, Business Analytics, and IT teams to optimize transportation strategies, improve system and data accuracy, manage costs, and achieve key performance objectives. Success in this position requires strong leadership, analytical problem-solving, and a continuous improvement mindset to enhance service levels, operational efficiency, and team performance.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage logistics staff, including workflow/coaching
- Team is responsible to set up and execute shipments from the US, including freezer appointments, drayage, transloads and ocean bookings.
- Have a very good understanding of the network, identify potential bottlenecks and develop plans to avoid it.
- Problem solving mind set.
- Direct responsibility for team’s performance and development of KPI’s
- Direct involvement with our IT and Business Analytics Teams in process improvement projects
- Ability to follow up on outstanding issues and implement processes and solutions to fix it.
- Constantly coach and develop each team member to be the best in our industry.
- Ability to interact with different stakeholders such as sales, customers, vendors, team member and other internal departments
- Ensure that the team has the right tools in place and essential information to make the best business decisions in terms of routing, optimization and costs.
- Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of costs accruals entered in SAP
- Responsible for the data accuracy and keeping systems, reports, sales and dashboards updated with the most recent and accurate information.
- Run, analyze and fix exceptions reports.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
- 2-5 years professional experience, direct management experience a plus
- Experience with international shipping; poultry export preferred
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Office)
- Strong organizational skills and acute attention to details.
- Proven leadership abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks while staying organized
- Must be process oriented, have superb time management and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and influence with management and cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and ask questions as needed.
- Experience in SAP and Qlikview systems preferred
- Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
- Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
- Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
- 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
- Base salary range of $70,000 - $80,000;
- Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and

The posted salary range represents the Company’s good faith estimate of the compensation that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, tenure, internal equity, market data, and may vary accordingly.
