Warehouse Attendant
Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Warehouse Attendant that reports to North Charleston, South Carolina.
This position supports warehouse operations by receiving and loading products according to the outbound schedule, staging products and containers, and packing and processing (screening and grinding) bulk and packaged products for export shipments.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, pack, and handle bulk and packaged products for export.
- Move bulk and packaged products throughout the warehouse using powered equipment.
- Operate powered material handling equipment safely.
- Monitor product quality standards.
- Understand proper product handling procedures for assigned machines and equipment.
- Weigh products as needed for receiving and shipping.
- Pack and ship orders accurately in accordance with FIFO guidelines and SOPs.
- Organize warehouse space and perform general cleaning duties.
- Track inventory in the appropriate system.
- Maintain organized product inventory and uphold quality standards required for audits.
- Ensure WIP and finished shipments are labeled correctly and completely.
- Maintain cleanliness standards within the assigned area.
- Demonstrate safe work practices at all times.
- Follow HACCP, Food and Feed Safety, GMP, and SSOP guidelines.
- Comply with all safety rules and guidelines.
- Perform facility maintenance duties as needed.
- Ensure proper documentation is completed for all assigned tasks.
- Complete reports by entering required information accurately.
- Support team goals by completing related tasks as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position in a manufacturing and industrial environment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Frequently walk and stand throughout the work shift.
- Frequently use hands and fingers to operate equipment, controls, and tools.
- Frequently reach, handle, grasp, and manipulate objects.
- Occasionally lift, carry, push, and/or pull materials weighing up to 80 pounds.
- Ability to communicate effectively and perceive information in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to observe and monitor equipment, processes, and work areas to ensure safe and efficient operations.

- Work is performed in a manufacturing and industrial setting.
- Exposure to varying temperatures, including hot and cold conditions.
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, powered industrial equipment, and heavy machinery.
- May work around sharp tools and equipment.
- Required to follow all safety policies, procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
- Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
- Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
- 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
- Base hourly range of $16.00-$22.00;

The posted salary range represents the Company’s good faith estimate of the compensation that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, tenure, internal equity, market data, and may vary accordingly.
