Shipping Planner –A Shift
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan product accurately to the correct outbound loads.
- Ensure proper and accurate product rotation throughout the shift.
- Track inventory numbers, shipping numbers, and palletizing counts during the shift.
- Send an end‑of‑shift email with all required statistics accurately recorded.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Observe and enforce all company personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating and working effectively with customers, clients, coworkers, and leadership teams.
- Participate in process improvement and problem‑solving using continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma; support and/or participate in the E$P program.
- Recognize and act on incidents and safety risks; consistently practice and enforce safe work habits.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Ability to perform basic math: addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and percentage calculations.
- Ability to pass a Prove It test.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
- Valid forklift and pallet jack license, or ability to obtain one.
- Ability to work in a cold environment.
- Ability to learn new procedures (barcode scanners, equipment, stacking grids).
- Familiarity with computer systems.
- Ability to work variable hours; excellent attendance required.
