Description

Scope: To drive continuous improvement in the company product design, assembly and manufacturing processes and procedures by providing input through the lessons learned from the analysis of parts and experience in the electrical and electronic field. On a first instance will not be dedicated to a single program but will support cross functionally all the electronic product. Will support maintenance, upkeep and improvement of the EOL testers of the e-products and will be in charge to define the specification of the EOL test equipment gathering the information from the RD Department and transferring them in a scope of requirement for suppliers for which will be the main contact. Will establish budget for improvement and for introduction of new equipment. Will support PFMEA evaluation addressing which failures could be detected by EOL and will work on reverse PFMEA with the group to eventually upgrade the system to identify failures occurred. Will be involved in all the electrical production processes like welding, soldering, AOI, and studying the IPC standards and implementing them in the plant 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum college Diploma or University degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the electrical engineering
  • Thorough knowledge of Lean Manufacturing (Production) principles, APQP, IATF16949, PPAP including process control Systems, Problem-solving techniques (8D) and Methodologies.
  • Good understanding of the functions of Powertrain components.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft office tools and software.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, advanced computer and analytical skills.
  • Understanding of the functions of Powertrain components.
  • Must have good knowledge of electrical test equipment, Oscilloscope and measuring tools
  • Understanding of PLC systems and software
  • Knowledge of customers' trends, perceptions, needs and expectations.
  • Must have knowledge of the functionality of power electronics, PCba and micro controllers.
  • Must read electrical drawings and understand electrical specification.
 
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and improve testing and measurement techniques used in production line testing relating to the motor and electronics in our products.
  • Support and troubleshoot production testing issues relating primarily to end of line testing, magnet rotor flux (BEMF) testing, and stator testing.
  • Support gauge control with calibration instructions for this test equipment and to validate red rabbits (gauge masters).
  • Documentation and construction of red rabbits (gauge masters) used for this test equipment.
  • Assist in troubleshooting production issues relating to the motor and electronic aspects of the product and working with product design for solutions and improvements.
  • Develop and continue to improve our specifications and standards for test equipment and related documentation to include comprehensive operating, maintenance, troubleshooting and calibration instructions.
  • Develop standardized JES and work instructions
  • Support root cause analysis of quality rejects.
  • Involve in related product development activities with product engineering group
  • Work with suppliers and assembly integrators and manage budget for the projects in which is involved.
  • Initiate and Lead the ESD related tasks, implementations of ESD projects, Develop ESD related Work Instructions and Procedures.
