TITLE: Maintenance Supervisor DEPARTMENT: Maintenance
REPORTS TO: Maintenance Manager
SUMMARY / OBJECTIVES:
Supervise, support and direct Maintenance Technicians and outside contractors. . The roles and responsibilities listed are not meant to be all inclusive. The needs of the company may require individuals to perform other functions.
Essential Functions:
1 | Responsible for evaluation and training of Technicians and creation of training plans within the department. |
2 | Assign/direct and assist technicians to maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment as required. Ensure effective distribution and completion of PM assignments. |
3 | Determine work-order material and estimated labor requirements. Provide work-order material for job completion and maintenance planning. |
4 | Primary Maintenance Department point of contact with engineering, production, and production support groups for equipment breakdown related issues. |
5 | Recommend improved work methods, tool organization & provision for the performance of Plant Maintenance activities. |
6 | Ensure departmental compliance with Lock-out-tag-out, Confined Space Entry, Fall Prevention and other applicable safety policies and procedures. |
7 | Provide effective and timely reports of maintenance activities and concerns to management groups as required. |

3 | Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles. |
4 | Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving ability. |

Monitor activity, interaction, and on time reliability of our technicians in all matters of equipment health at Hanon Systems Alabama. Sustain a safe successful uptime work record.

Work Environment:
20% office, 10% Safety, Facility, and Planning, 70% Manufacturing Floor maintaining plant infrastructure conditions & process.

Physical Demands:
Overhead, under equipment, bending & normal maintenance articulation. Occasional lifting should not exceed 50lb without lift assist.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Full time Salary Employee, occasional weekend work. Working hours (shift) determined by the needs of our business.

Travel:
Little to no travel other than local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area training may arise.

Required Education and Experience:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent
2. Technical Institution or College equivalent
3. Minimum of 5 years in a Maintenance Supervisory role
4. Experience in Automotive or TS16949 related operation
Preferred Education and Experience:
Electro Mechanical or Civil certifications
