Unmanned Aircraft Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled Unmanned Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team . In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective operation of unmanned aircraft through the inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
Inspect and test aircraft systems including propulsion, avionics, airframes, and payloads.
Troubleshoot malfunctions and replace or repair defective components.
Conduct thorough post-incident inspections and perform structural and system repairs following aircraft crashes or hard landings.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and incident reports.
Assist in the development of maintenance programs.
Ensure equipment and tools are properly maintained.
Support pre-flight and post-flight operations, including system checks and diagnostics.
Ensure all maintenance and repairs are conducted in accordance with safety, and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
Technical education (prevefably bachelor degree).
Prior experience or knowledge with UAV systems or aviation maintenance.
Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Proficient in the use of manual tools and hand-held equipment for mechanical repairs.
Proficient in MS Office.
Good in English and Latvian.
