What You’ll Do:
The Junior Graphic Designer assists with creation and designs of promotional collateral for sales and marketing while ensuring consistency with our brand guidelines. Hybrid position 2 days in the office, 3 days remote.
NOTE: Digital Portfolio is required
 
Your Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Collaborate with corporate marketing to design graphics and templates for various mediums such as product materials, logos, websites, social media, and digital assets.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining graphic and brand standards to ensure a cohesive visual identity.
  • Support the determination of appropriate messages and tones for design projects under the guidance of senior designers.
  • Create visually captivating images that effectively represent the Company's products or convey a specific message.
  • Adhere to brand standards, including colors, images, text style, and layout, to maintain a unified brand image.
  • Work closely with Account Managers and senior designers to conceptualize, design, and produce graphic design projects.
  • Incorporate feedback and make necessary changes to finalize designs with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate creativity and a willingness to experiment with design concepts.
  • Support the generation of innovative approaches to communicate ideas effectively to consumers and create designs with clear and recognizable meanings.
  • Assist with administrative aspects of production, including preparing final designs for presentation, reviewing and approving color, copy, text format separations, and scaling images for print production.
  • Ensure timely completion of projects by effectively managing deadlines and communicating with all stakeholders.
  • Organize layouts and scale photos, ensuring proper screen values for print reproduction under the supervision of senior staff.
  • Handle copyright, reprint, and permission processes as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
What You Have:
  • Ability to think creatively and develop visually captivating designs that are artistically interesting and effectively convey the desired message.
  • Demonstrated experience in graphic arts and publications with basic project management skills.
  • Basic knowledge of printing, publishing, graphic art procedures, and relevant computer software.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to promote a positive team environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; knowledge of email platforms like Mailchimp and Lasso is a plus.
  • Strong time-management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously, each with different deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail.
 
Your Education and Experience:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art/Graphic Design or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design or related work, with a portfolio of your work required.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with knowledge of UX design.
  • Knowledge of email platforms like Mailchimp and Lasso is a plus.

Compensation:
Compensation: Century Communities (the "Company") intends to offer the selected candidate an annual base salary in the range of $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 with the potential for other financial incentives. Actual offers will be based on a variety of factors, including experience. Employees will have access to paid time off, medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, and the Company's 401(k) plan.
