What You’ll Do:

The Financial Analyst provides financial consulting and strategic support to the Division, including preparing financial packages, financial presentations, detailed business analysis, land acquisition analysis, and other projects requested by senior management.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Analyze financial performance across all communities within the division accurately prepare financial packages including financial statements, cash flow, budgets, and business plan analysis.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial reports by gathering, sourcing, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data.
  • Provide analytical support to management to optimize homebuilding operations and identify cost savings opportunities.
  • Ensures compliance with financial and accounting policies, internal control procedures, and practices.
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned.

What You Have:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office skills, with a heavy focus on Microsoft Excel.
  • Understanding of GAAP, cost accounting, and job costing.
  • Proficient in various other software and accounting systems.

Your Education and Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 2-5 years of progressive experience in finance, financial planning and analysis, or accounting.
  • Homebuilding accounting experience or Big 4 accounting experience preferred.

Compensation:Century Communities (the "Company") intends to offer the selected candidate an annual base salary in the range of $80,000 - $100,000 with the potential for other financial incentives. Actual offers will be based on a variety of factors, including experience. Employees will have access to paid time off, medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, and the Company's 401(k) plan.
