Regional Production Manager

What You’ll Do:
The Regional Production Manager is responsible for managing the relationship and communication between our builder partner and Inspire Home Loans. This position has direct oversight and management of the backlog of business and the loan pipeline for the region. Responsible for operational excellence and regulatory compliance related to the origination of mortgage loans for the team. This role is remote to FL.
Your Key Responsibilities Include:
- Attend weekly backlog with Century Communities, with a strong focus on application and closing capture metrics.
- Provide daily supervision, support, and oversight to ensure timelines are met, customer service standards are exceeded, workload priorities are established, and problems/exceptions are resolved.
- Thorough understanding of mortgage loan documentation, mortgage loan processing, closing, underwriting requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to read and analyze AUS findings, research guidelines and collaborate to find solutions to challenging loan situations.
- Pipeline Management and Quality Control; monitor and manage the timeliness and quality of the mortgage pipeline.
- Work with processing, underwriting, secondary marketing, closing, and the leadership team to ensure loans meet compliance standards and close on time.
- Work with loan officers and branch managers on escalated and/or complex loans.
- Assigns, directs, coordinates, and reviews work of staff to ensure performance metrics are met for each loan officer and division.
- Responsive to the builder and their needs to ensure the customer is satisfied.
- Be the mortgage expert for the region.
- A clear understanding of the entire loan origination/processing life cycle.
- Travel as needed to the branches in the region.
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
What You Have:
- 5+ years of supervisory or management experience with regional responsibilities within a lender environment, builder experience preferred.
- Extensive understanding and advanced knowledge of mortgage technology.
- Experience with Blend, Encompass, and Optimal Blue.
- Advanced knowledge of State and Federal mortgage lending laws and regulations to include, but not limited to: Fair Lending, HMDA, ECOA, TILA, RESPA, FCRA, Fraud Prevention, SAFE Act.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of loan products includes Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, DPA, and any state bond programs.
- Experience reviewing AUS findings; finding alternative solutions as needed per Agency guidelines.
- Problem resolution skills.
- Proven relationship building skills.
Your Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business-related experience. Advanced degree or CMCP, a plus.
- Must have 5+ years of mortgage-related experience, including production, underwriting, operations.
- 3+ years of experience with loan originations is required.
- Must have an active NMLS MLO license in the State of Florida.
- Must reside in Florida.
