We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer to create web pages and applications for our marketing website,  In this role, you will have the opportunity to create customer-facing web pages for a set of websites with over 10 million annual visitors.

The website includes a custom-built CMS, a partner-facing portal and various employee-facing web apps. The site is built in PHP using the CodeIgniter MVC framework with a MySQL back-end database. A basic knowledge of PHP is useful, as your code will need to work within this structure. The front-end uses object-oriented JS and React.

What you’ll be working on

In this job, you will be involved in designing new website features in collaboration with managers within the organization as well as building new content based on functional specs in Adobe Experience Manager, our new website CMS.  Your assistance will also be needed in site optimization including making speed improvements, improving the existing legacy code and fixing security vulnerabilities.

What you bring to the role & technologies you’ll be using
  • Strong HTML, CSS and object-oriented JavaScript programming skills
  • Experience working in Adobe Experience Manager CMS, preferably Cloud Service
  • Knowledge of React desired
  • Working knowledge PHP programming is useful
  • Ability to work with third-party API’s
  • Ability to manage version releases in a team environment using GIT or similar tools
  • Front-end web design using HTML, CSS and object-oriented JavaScript and event-based UI
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
