We are seeking a talented, motivated Account Manager who thrives in a quick sales cycle environment.  This fast-paced role is focused on growing our SMB customer base through expansion and acquisition of net-new customers.  Supported by our Lead Development team, you will balance receiving qualified opportunities to drive through the sales cycle with hunting for cross sell and upsell opportunities in your existing customer base.  This role reports into our Country Manager.    
What you’ll be working on  
  • Sales development and management of Barracuda brand products, including but not limited to, channel development, management and training, high-touch sales.  
  • Meet regional and individual sales objectives with accurate forecastingConsistently outperform sales quotas; Achievement driven;
  • Highly competitivePreparing and completing action plansAbility to prospect and manage C-Level and senior level relationships within organizations
What you bring to the role  
  • Ideally 5 years of IT sales experience
  • At least 2 years of experience selling Security products
  • Vendor background would be preferable
  • A successful person having delivered 1 Million USD revenue from the Territory
  • Experience working with resellers to co-sell
  • Experience in Network Security and/or Storage, a real benefit
  • Strong C-level/ board level communications skills
  • Proven "hunter' background with a track record of consistent over-quota performance and top tier company ranking
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM tools is recommended
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics.
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a focus on customer success with good business acumen and experience with basic contracts and pricing,
  • Ability to also work individually and as part of a team with excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
