Job Title: Business Operations Analyst
Department: Strategy and Operations 

About the Role: 

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Business Operations Analyst. This role will report to a Manager or Senior Manager of Value-Based Care Programs and work closely with the Operations and Strategy teams to help drive Astrana Health’s operations forward so we can continue to scale in the healthcare industry. 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Work across departments representing the Value-Based Programs team to execute projects, build workflows, and create processes that will allow our business to grow and scale
  • Handle time sensitive and strategic operational improvement initiatives with internal and external stakeholders, such as building, optimizing, and maintaining documentation infrastructure, improving data transfer pipelines, and drafting executive and external stakeholder communications
  • Lead efforts in project coordination, event / meeting scheduling and planning, and workflow organization at a rapid pace across all departmental lanes 
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in standing up new initiatives, project management, data processing and analysis, and presentation building simultaneously across multiple projects 
  • Contribute to and implement project management best practices 
  • Attend executive and external calls (corporate and governmental) as a representative of the Strategic Initiatives Team and Astrana Health. Record and summarize key takeaways and action items and advance project timelines
  • Support the office of the co-CEO across various special projects and initiatives
  • Additional tasks and responsibilities as required 

Minimum qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Incredible attention to detail (top 1%) and strong reasoning skills (ability to surface critical unaddressed questions, notice gaps, and keep multiple complex workstreams clearly organized) 
  • 1+ years’ experience in project management, operations, or related fields
  • Ability to independently pursue and develop solutions to complex problems
  • Strong communication skills 
  • High level of accountability & drive for excellence
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • A passion for improving the healthcare industry

You're great for this role if: 

  • Experience working on multiple complex projects end-to-end
  • Previous work in consulting, investment banking, or paralegal roles, or equivalent skillset 
  • Statistics or programming expertise 
  • Prior work in VBC and/or ACO programs

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions: 

  • Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where the expectation is to work both in office and at home on a weekly basis. The office is located in New York.
  • The target pay range for this role is: $80,000 - 100,000.  This salary range represents our national target range for this role
