Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Department: Southern California Heart Centers
About the Role:
We are looking for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a team that is passionate about the health of our patients in our cardiology clinics.
What You’ll Do:
- Explain medical procedures to patients and answer any questions they may have.
- Follow safety procedures to protect the patients and themselves from unnecessary radiation exposure.
- Prepare and administer radioactive drugs to patients.
- Monitor and watch for any unusual reactions patients may have to drugs.
- Operate imaging equipment.
- Maintain detailed procedure records.
- Follow safety and disposal radiation procedures.
Qualifications:
- Satisfactory completion of formal nuclear medicine technology training by either the NMTCB or the ARRT(N)
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or Certified Technologist Nuclear Medicine (CTNM) issued by California Department of Public Health or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT(N)) issued by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
You’ll be great for this role if you have:
- Minimum one year of direct patient care experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese, or Spanish
- Experience with EHRs

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions:
- This is position can be full-time, part-time, or per diem. The clinics are located in San Gabriel and City of Industry. We offer flexible scheduling and 8 hour shifts. The clinics are open M - F.
- The total compensation target pay range for this role is between $70 - $73 per hour. This salary expectation represents our national target range for this role.
