About the Role:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Technical Project Manager. This role will report to our Director of Software Engineering and enable us to continue to scale in the healthcare industry. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects within our organization.
What You'll Do:
- Lead, coordinate, and manage technical projects throughout entire software development life cycle
- Manages multiple projects effectively
- Define projects and business needs, collect business requirements, break requirements down into engineering features, and create project documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align requirements and prioritization
- Serve as focal point of contact on projects for all stakeholders, with clear leadership and communication
- Create and hold team accountable for timelines to ensure successful and timely project completion
- Understand strategic goals, identify project risks, and clearly communicate these to stakeholders
- Assist in designing, developing, and enhancing our software and applications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Hands-on experience in managing software development projects, preferably from inception to production
- Experience working in agile/scrum environments such as facilitating daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, demos and retrospectives
- Extensive experience analyzing and managing large scale projects with clients and business partners
- Enthusiastic about solving problems in healthcare
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong sense of empathy
- Strong collaboration skills and orientation towards driving joint ownership across teams
You're great for this role if:
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- Experience with project management software (Azure DevOps)
- UI/UX design experience
- Have healthcare or managed care domain knowledge (eligibility, claims, utilization management, HIPAA requirements)

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions:
- This position is remotely based in the U.S.
- The total compensation target pay range for this role is: $110,000 - $120,000. The salary range represents our national target range for this role.
