Job Title: DME Operations Coordinator
Department: Operations – DME
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated DME Operations Coordinator. This role will report to the DME Operations Manager/Sr. Project Manager and enable us to continue to scale in the healthcare industry. The DME Operations Coordinator will work closely with Manager to support the Department with incoming telephone calls, contacting members, processing orders, maintaining compliance, servicing in person appointments, inventory management, and filing documents.  Other duties will also be assigned to balance workload between the team.
What You'll Do
  • Confirm orders via telephone (Set in person appointments or collect necessary information for shipping orders)
  • Learn DME software operations and process drop ship orders
  • Assemble medium or larger DME supplies, restock and transport DME supplies to different locations, which will require lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Learn and perform Orthosis fittings
  • Learn and perform diabetic shoes & inserts fittings
  • Scan & upload delivery tickets to patient records
  • Scan various Durable Medical Equipment (DME) documents to file in DME database
  • Able to operate telephone, desktop computer, office printer & scanner, and handling of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) supplies
  • Complete compliance surveys for dispensed supplies
  • Keep a clean and organized work station
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or higher
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in operations
  • Proven PC skills – Excel, Word, Access, Outlook
  • Ability to type a minimum of 60 wpm
  • Highly motivated and able to work with multiple tasks simultaneously
  • May be required to work overtime to meet tight deadlines
  • Trilingual in Vietnamese and Cantonese

  • Knowledge of  Incontinence, Wound Care, Ostomy, and Urology supplies
  • Knowledge of Brightree Software
  • Detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills in a fast-pace environment
  • Good oral and writing skills characterized by the ability to communicate effectively with varying audiences 
  • Understanding of Health Plan compliance and Federal regulations and standards

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions:
  • This position is in office. The office is located at 568 Garvey Ave., Monterey Park, CA 91754.
  • The total compensation target pay range for this role is: $18.00 - $25.00/hr. The salary range represents our national target range for this role.
