About the Role: 
 
As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) with our organization, you will play a crucial role in supporting our employees and driving the success of our HR initiatives. We are seeking a professional and experienced HRBP with a strong background in coaching, talent management, employee relations, and demonstrated experience working with health care operational teams.  
 
 
What You'll Do:  
 
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to department heads and managers, providing guidance on people-related strategy and execution around talent management, employee relations, and HR best practices.  
  • Collaborate with department leaders to develop and implement performance review processes (e.g., 9-box, development plans, annual reviews, etc.) that align with organizational goals and foster employee growth and development.  
  • Conduct regular performance review meetings with managers and employees, providing constructive feedback and facilitating discussions on performance improvement and goal setting.  
  • Proactively address employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.  
  • Partner with assigned departments to understand their unique HR needs and challenges, and develop tailored solutions to support their teams effectively.  
  • Educate, coach, and partner with managers on talent management and employee development goals.  
  • Stay informed about relevant employment laws and regulations, and ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to performance management, employee relations, and other HR functions.  
  • Act as a mediator and advocate for employees, providing support and guidance on workplace issues and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.  
  • Collaborate with the HR team on various projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs, talent development, and succession planning.  
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the HR function, and implement solutions to enhance overall effectiveness.  
 
Qualifications:  
 
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).  
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in HR roles, with a focus on performance management and employee relations.  
  • Experience working with health services departments or within the healthcare industry is highly preferred.  
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations, with a demonstrated ability to apply them in a practical, solutions-oriented manner.  
 
 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.  
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing HR challenges.  
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.  
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions:  
  
  • Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where the expectation is to work both in office and at home on a weekly basis. The office is located at 1668 S Garfield Avenue, Alhambra, CA 91801 
  • The total compensation target pay range for this role is: $80,000 - $100,000. The salary range represents our national target range for this role.
