Pay Range: $30.79 - $41.57 
Position Summary:
Under the direction and supervision of an Office Manger or Clinical Director assumes responsibility and accountability for assignments for a designated time frame by assisting physician(s) and staff in providing a seamless approach to patient care.  Communicates with providers to ensure that patient needs are met. Assists Staff in providing patient care according to established methods/policies/standards of the Prenatal Diagnostic Center.  In addition to performing the essential functions listed below, may also be assigned other duties as required.
Statement of Accountability: Reports to Office Manager

Qualifications:
1. High School graduate or equivalent work experience, including ability to read, write and comprehend medical terminology and English.  Good verbal and written communication skills. Spanish speaking desired.
2. Completion of Medical Assistant certification course preferred.
3. Emotional stamina to work in a stressful environment and relate to patients, hospital staff, and visitors.
4. Current CPR/BLS certification required
5. Required: typing speed 30 wpm. Minimum 2-3 years experience with windows operating system and windows based programs. Internet skills desired. 
6. Recent experience. Must include 2 years minimum on the job experience necessary; specifically knowledge in Obstetrics.
7. Able to exercise appropriate decision making in determining follow up actions, work effectively under changing work assignments.
8. EPIC experience preferred
