Salary Range: $158,080 - $221,312
Position Summary:
The Director of Medical Billing leads and directs strategic conception, implementation and maintenance of reimbursement strategies and systems designed to facilitate and maximize fee for service reimbursement.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree preferably in the area of Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance or related quantitative discipline is required; Master's degree preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of five years of medical billing management experience in such areas as medical office/hospital administration and/or healthcare receivables management, or related experience is required. The position requires the knowledge that would normally be acquired through a minimum of five years experience as a manager which requires demonstrated knowledge of physician coding, billing, reimbursement and statistical reporting.
A combination of related education and experience may be considered.
