Join Our Team
You will be our VP, Insurance Systems Product Leader to lead our product development and support team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with insurance software platforms such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, or similar, and a proven track record in driving product innovation and strategy in the insurance industry. The role reports to the Chief Architect & Delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead the product management team to develop and execute product strategies that align with the company’s vision and goals.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring products meet business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including underwriting, finance, claims and technical accounting functions to ensure seamless product implementation, standardization of business processes and support.
- Partner with stakeholders in business functions and senior management to develop and manage a joint plan for the allocation of scarce resources to maximize the benefits for the company.
- Build and lead team of Business Analysts, Production Support Administrators and System Developers to design and deliver solutions, enhancements, defect management, and upgrades based on agreed upon plans and end-user issues.
- Coordinate development and maintenance projects and releases with QA team, DevOps team and PMO.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and on the design of solutions.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure and Security teams on the supporting technical infrastructure and ongoing security requirements to ensure the stability, performance and security of the applications.
- Maintain systems enhancement roadmap based on validation and prioritization of inputs from stakeholders, combined with consultation across the various dependent functions in IT.
- Manage key system vendors strategically for long-term value and on day-to-day execution and support activities.
- Maintain and communicate overall insurance systems portfolio financials.

Your skills and abilities should include:
- 10+ years of experience in product management or related roles in the P&C (re)insurance industry
- Experience leading teams directly or indirectly to achieve significant business results from systems implementation.
- Strong written, verbal, and graphic communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical information to varying audiences.
- Strong leadership skills; ability to establish and maintain credibility and to influence and build trust.
- Demonstrated track record of excellent decision-making abilities; ability to make decisions logically, methodically and timely.
- Ability to set priorities and manage multiple projects/assignments.
- Direct experience insurance software platforms such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, or similar is required.
- Experience managing international teams a plus.
SALARY: The estimated salary range for this position is $200,000 per year to $250,000 per year. This is a good-faith assessment of the salary range for this position only. In determining the actual salary within this range, SiriusPoint will consider a candidate’s relevant experience, location, and other job-related factors.
