Join Our Team

You will be our Head of Ceded Placement for International and a key member of our Ceded Reinsurance team. You will report to the Global Head of Ceded Reinsurance.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Work in conjunction with Global Head of Ceded Re to develop and implement the reinsurance purchasing strategy. 
  • Accountable for placement outcomes that should meet SiriusPoint’s agreed objectives and be compliant with governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage overall placement processes from beginning to completion of placement ensuring orderly and successful placement subject to governance / approvals on reinsurance purchasing.
  • Responsible for production of RI submissions.
  • Manage requested data calls from Brokers/Reinsurers.
  • Regularly engage internally with business colleagues and externally with local relationships.
  • Review reinsurance documents for completeness in accordance with negotiated terms & conditions and Contract Certainty requirements.
  • Monitor adherence to purchasing protocols.
  • Maintain the Lloyd’s relationship and more specifically the oversight of various Lloyd’s returns; Ensure Regulatory Requirements met.
  • Additional duties as required.

 

Your Skills and Abilities Should Include:

  • Strong knowledge of Property & Casualty & Specialty lines.
  • Broad network of relationships.
  • A minimum of 7 – 10 years of Reinsurance buying or related experience.
  • Knowledge of reinsurance contract wordings.
  • Excellent communication skills.
