Join Our Team

You will be our Reinsurance Analyst and a key member of our Ceded Reinsurance team. You will report to the Head of Ceded Reinsurance Placement - London.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Work closely with the Head of Ceded Reinsurance placement (London), Global Head of Ceded Re, Underwriting, Actuarial, Claims, Technical Accounting and Operations as well as others as appropriate during the placement process.

 

  • Work with Underwriting, Finance, Actuarial and claims to gather data to assist in the reinsurance submission preparation.

 

  • Liaise with the Legal department in the drafting of reinsurance contract wording in accordance with company standards.

 

  • Ensure all Ceded Compliance:
    • Security
    • Regulatory and Group Guidelines are adhered
    • Contract Certainty

 

  • Coordinate and track execution of contract wordings to full completion and maintain electronic filing archives.

 

  • Coordinate Reinsurance Underwriting audits as well as internal and external audits.

 

  • Responsible for maintaining monthly/quarterly and ad hoc reports.

 

  • Develop and foster relationships with Reinsurance Brokers and reinsurers.

 

  • Additional duties as required.

 

Your Skills and Abilities Should Include:

  • A minimum of 2 - 5 years of Reinsurance / Insurance related experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and quantitative skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
