JOB DESCRIPTION – Self Bill and Credit reporting Analyst

Self Bill and Credit Reporting Team Leader

OVERALL PURPOSE

Maintain Self Bill, reporting and AR non-stock credit processes and routines.

PRINCIPAL TEAM ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

Assist in the daily/weekly and Month end reporting for the credit department, using excel and in-house systems.

 

Weekly reconciliation and clear down of Self Bill Accounts, identifying anomalies and addressing with the relevant sales representative and customer

 

Admin support for the Credit team, including customer credit hold maintenance and weekly customer specific billing summaries.

 

Customer portal invoice upload/within customer specific matching guidelines.

Creation of customer Global non stock credit notes and maintenance of credit note register.

 

Support monthly reconciliation and clear down of all Pay-On-Production accounts.

 

Cash allocation for 2 areas of the business, posting cash to the correct account and applying to the relevant invoices.

 

Manage the manual non sales general invoice process and all inherent processes, i.e. customer creation.

 

Take customer credit card payments upon request for UK and NA.

 

Provide AR Audit support when required.

 

Adhoc AR project/customer support.

 

Work within inherent Optimas internal controls, reporting control weaknesses to SB Team Leader/Credit Manager. Assist in the development and implementation of relevant system and internal control improvements.

 

Promotes and protects the Company image at all times.

 

Maintains high integrity and confidentiality in all business/staff matters.

 

Takes reasonable care of the health and safety of self, other persons and resources at work. Operate safe working practices.

 

Skills required

 

Intermediate excel skills, including vlookups/pivot tables/sumif’s

Attention to detail

High level of accuracy

Methodical and accepts repetitive duties but also responds to urgent requests when required.

Ability to look for continuous improvement.

Integral part of a large team, ability work and support the team.
