Position overview:

 

Meeting the requirements of the company’s Compliance Evaluation Process, support the Technical Services Department when required in day-to-day activity.

 

Main responsibilities:

 

The Compliance Engineer will:

 

  • Assist in the collection and documentation of Environmental Compliance information from our customers and suppliers. 
  • Ensure all documentation submitted meets current Optimas business requirements.  Work with the requester to facilitate required changes. 
  • Ensure that system setups are created in a timely manner to comply with corporate targets. 
  • Add and maintain attributes on existing parts to keep in synch with new business initiatives.
  • Have a detailed understanding of products, surface coatings and locking/sealing patches.
  • Have a good understanding of metallurgy.
  • knowledge of ELV Directive, REACH ROHS and IMDS / CDX Input.
  • Create and compile KPI’s.
  • Working knowledge of Capacity Analysis Reports 
  • This position requires extended periods of data entry and computer processing, reviewing printed specifications and analyzing data.

Skills and Qualifications:

 

  • Min 4-7 year work experience
  • Ability to work accurately in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Exceptional data entry skills (computer, keyboard, mouse)
  • Good Microsoft Excel capabilities
  • Good interpersonal, verbal, written and communication skills
  • Highly motivated, high energy, ‘can do’ attitude, competitive self-starter with a  strong sense of urgency
  • Detail orientated
