Position overview:

Raise awareness and generate qualified leads for Optimas services and elevate internal engagement with company communications.

 

Main responsibilities:

This role will enable interns to share innovative ideas and help influence lead generation, brand awareness, sales enablement and organizational behavior, through: 

  • Planning, audience segmentation and data acquisition, message/creative development and channel selection that take our messages to market—plus results assessment.
  • Creating internal communication vehicles—video, email, posters, live events, etc.—that provide program support and elevate teammate engagement throughout the Americas. 
  • Special projects like updating Optimas’ competitive SWOT analysis, developing an industry influencer program, CRM database enrichment and other opportunities to accomplish company goals.
  • Campaign and even briefs, social posts, ad research/content, social posts, scripts/videos, competitor kill sheets, Digest headlines/internal email, HubSpot data enrichment, environmental branding asset production and more.

 

Key Competencies:

The ideal candidate must have the following competencies:

  • Exceptional written, graphic and verbal communication skills
  • Some experience with Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Google Analytics and MS Office and CRM
  • Smart time and project management abilities
  • High-energy, self-motivated, results-oriented team member
  • Commuting distance of 40 minutes or less to Wood Dale, IL (near O’Hare Airport)

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Rising senior or first-year MBA student pursuing a marketing degree at an accredited college/university
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (4.0 scale)
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, high energy and strong time management skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and team orientation
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to take lead and drive for results
