Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Process Management Intern to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to update documented procedures in collaboration with Business Process owners, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and external regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will utilize critical thinking skills to review and enhance content, facilitate collaboration with process owners, and contribute to the development of cross-functional process documentation.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Update documented procedures in collaboration with Business Process owners.
  • Utilize standardized templates and Document Control procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Manage documents using the Document Library in Sharepoint, including Check-in and Checkout processes.
  • Facilitate document approvals through automated workflows.
  • Review content for consistency and alignment with Optimas processes, ISO 9001, and IATF 16949 standards.
  • Collaborate with process owners to determine the most suitable document types for required information.
  • Interview cross-functional process owners to gather information and develop comprehensive process documentation.
  • Assist in the creation of cross-functional process flows and SIPOCs (Supplier, Input, Process, Output, Customer).
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of Sharepoint site design and development.
  • Adhere to project timelines and deliverables.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and SharePoint
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical documentation and standards.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Management, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with document management systems, preferably SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards is a plus.
  • Previous experience with process improvement initiatives is desirable.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. 
  • Spanish is a plus
