The Opportunity:

NDB team operates like a start-up within Nutanix and works on a product targeting multi-billion dollar database market. We are quite successful as an on-premise offering and see enormous amount of interest from customers in the product. We are now embarking on journey of multi/hybrid cloud managed service and want people with relevant skills and experience to be part of this exciting opportunity.Your Role:
  • Drive initial requirements definition around product security, provide security recommendations to product stakeholders.
  • Conduct and drive security reviews, threat modelling and design reviews.
  • Liaison with the organisation’s security office, evangelise a strategic and disciplined approach to security within the engineering organisation and provide technical consulting for team on secure software development practices.
  • Design security controls for enterprise SaaS applications including security aspects of the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Design secure solutions for the public cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Creating incident response strategy, plans and play-books.
What you'll bring:
  • Prior experience in architecting and developing secure micro services on the container platforms.
  • Prior experience of working on regulatory and compliance standards (SOC, FedRAMP, HIPPA etc.).
  • Understanding of Security/IAM Domain and first hand experience in designing/development of security features for enterprise products
  • Working knowledge of various security tools like static code analysis, open source scanning, container scanning, vulnerability scanning.
  • Experience as product security Owner is a plus
  • Cloud Security Architect (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Love of programming and rock-solid in one or more languages: Java, Python or C++
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required with 6-13 years’ experience. Advanced degree in Computer Science preferred
