Principal Product Manager - NCM Ops

The Opportunity
Nutanix is looking for a Principal Product Manager with great leadership, analytical, strategic, and mentorship skills to be part of our growing team. As a Principal Product Manager, you will own the strategy and execution of building our NCM Intelligent Ops product, a core part of our Nutanix Cloud Manager (NCM) offering. NCM Ops aims to deliver intelligent operations for Nutanix cloud environments through a closed loop process for visibility, insights and automated remediation.
Your Role
- Help define and execute strategy and roadmap for NCM Intelligent Ops.
- Regular outreach and synthesis of customer feedback into prioritized requirements and use cases
- Write detailed product requirement documents (PRDs) for new features in the product
- Responsible for complete product delivery - Coordinate with cross functional teams (product management, engineering, UI/UX designers, partner ecosystem, program management, support, marketing, etc.) to drive roadmap execution
- Own, Build and Drive clarity around the longer term vision for the NCM Intelligent Ops product line specifically, and NCM in general.
- Track, manage, and report on KPIs. Present at QBRs, Operations Review, Analyst meetings etc
- Motivate and Influence both the Product and Engineering team, Evangelize, Provide customer advocacy and briefings
- Provide ongoing marketing and field support as needed to drive high customer satisfaction
- Author, build, and maintain compelling internal and external facing collateral
- Be Considered a thought leader in the field and well respected within the community
- Mentors APMs/PMs in the team across US/India and play an active role in hiring candidates
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of product management experience
- Very Strong Domain Expertise in monitoring, observability, APM, remediation or related fields
- Experience with cloud infrastructure services, public cloud such as AWS or Azure is a strong plus
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related fields. MBA is nice to have.
- Demonstrated ability to innovate, build and launch successful products
- Independently lead a Product line (a major area of a product offering)
- Attention to detail in executing complex projects with cross-functional dependencies
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to present to C-level executives, including experience in high-level business discussions
- Proven ability to influence geographically distributed teams and deliver on commitments
- Strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills
