If so, this is a unique opportunity to join our dynamic team as a FP&A Principle Analyst in Amsterdam, where you will play a critical role in driving business insights and strategic analysis while collaborating with various functions to support our growth initiatives.
About the Team
The Principal FP&A Analyst will join the Worldwide Sales Finance team located in our key markets across the globe. This team operates in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, characterized by a culture of collaboration, support, and partnership across various business functions. The team's mission at Nutanix is to deliver critical financial insights and analysis that drive strategic decision-making and optimize business performance, particularly in the renewals business.
You will report to the Senior Director of Worldwide Sales Finance, who fosters a leadership style centered around mentorship and empowerment, encouraging team members to be self-sufficient while providing ample support and coaching. The work setup for this role is hybrid, requiring the new hire to be in the office three days a week to facilitate collaboration and communication within the team.
Travel may be required from time to time, but will not be frequent.
Your Role
- Develop and enhance financial reporting for renewals and new ACV bookings to support business decisions.
- Analyze key trends and provide strategic insights to the Renewals, Portfolio and Revenue Operations leadership teams for forecasting and decision-making.
- Collaborate with the BI team to improve reporting capabilities and data analysis processes.
- Monitor OPEX and actual spending against forecasts to inform resource allocation and budget planning.
- Engage with various business functions, including sales and revenue operations, to align financial objectives with business strategies.
- Establish strong relationships with business stakeholders and clearly communicate analysis, insights, and recommendations.
- Identify gaps in financial processes and propose improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support the deal review process by analyzing the health of the largest deals to identify risks and opportunities and to optimize future performance.
- Lead initiatives to create a culture of data-driven decision-making within the team and across the organization.
What You Will Bring
- 10+ years of relevant experience in finance and business support roles.
- Strong Excel modeling skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with Tableau or similar reporting tools.
- Ability to partner effectively with business stakeholders and communicate insights clearly.
- Familiarity with complex datasets and transactional data management.
- Experience in forecasting, OPEX management, and strategic analysis.
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
