About the Team

You will report to the Senior Engineering Manager, who is committed to supporting your professional growth and providing clear guidance. The work setup at Nutanix is hybrid, with team members expected to be in the office 2-3 days a week to facilitate collaboration, brainstorming sessions, and team cohesion. As part of this role, there are no travel requirements, allowing you to focus fully on your projects and team dynamics without the need for frequent travel commitments.
Your Role
- Performance analysis
- Design and implement Performance framework
- Design and implement Observability stack
- Support internal engineering team for performance benchmarking and observability onboarding
What You Will Bring
- Programming language strong in Python and bonus with C++/Java/Golang
- Strong in Math and stats, data analysis
- Have experience with Observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, Jaeger, Signoz etc
- Bonus experience with Jenkins, JMeter, ClickHouse, k8s, AWS, etc
- Experience in designing and developing scalable distributed systems and microservices architectures.
- Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and API design principles.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with agile methodologies and collaborative software development practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation in cloud infrastructure.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 2 - 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.
