The Opportunity 
We are seeking an Return on Investment and Total Cost of Ownership Tooling Specialist to join the ROI & TCO Services Team. This individual will be responsible for building, developing and maintenance of ROI & TCO analysis tools that the ROI and TCO Specialists in the team will use in processing Account Teams’ requests for ROI & TCO Analysis. The tooling framework, calculations and expected outputs need to support various use-cases for the Nutanix Solution and be able to integrate a multitude of calculation factors concerning customer’s existing environment, proposed solution, budgetary quote, sales program, and or other circumstance. For this reason, we are looking to have a dedicated individual to help ensure the tooling for this function is effectively maintained and under continuous development.

 
About the Team 
The ROI & TCO Team sits within the Deal Solutions organization, aligned with our Bid & Proposal Management Team, and specializes in helping Account Teams support customers in evaluating and optimizing investments into Nutanix Solutions, ensuring the business value of the Nutanix solution is compared with that of the customers’ existing solution, allowing prospects and customers to make informed decisions in considering Nutanix proposals, maximize returns and manage costs effectively as they migrate to Nutanix.

 
Your Role 
  • In the ROI & TCO team, you will be in charge of building complex macro-enabled excel analysis template documents fit to meet various ROI & TCO analysis use cases, which are to be used by your teammates in meeting their internal customers’ ROI & TCO analysis requests.
  • You will be expected to manage your workload through limited supervision while escalating high priority issues to the appropriate teams and points of contact.
  • You will –
    • Help build and establish a master calculator template that can be used in all migration to Nutanix scenarios.
    • Develop a roadmap of future use cases that can be integrated into the tooling solution, as well as further enhancement to the calculation factors, integrity and output quality.
    • Serve as a first point of contact to ROI and TCO Specialists that need assistance with working with the tool, and provide training on the tool and calculation framework to new team members and other interested parties.
    • Collaborate with the team and other internal stakeholders to determine additional factors to integrate into the tooling to enhance the analysis framework and yield better insights, as well as explore additional or supplementary tooling solutions to elevate the service and team’s capabilities.

What You Will Bring 
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
  • 3-5 years experience in tooling development, particularly in building and maintaining complex analytical tools. 
  • Proficiency and experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Ability to design frameworks that support various use-cases and integrate multiple calculation factors.
  • Familiarity with financial modelling and calculations related to ROI and TCO. 
  • Strong analytical skills to understand and implement complex financial models.
  • Experience in handling large datasets and ensuring the accuracy of calculations.
  • Basic understanding of the Nutanix Solution and its various use-cases.
  • Ability to translate technical requirements into user-friendly tools and documentation.
  • Ability to stay updated with the latest trends and technologies.

Work Arrangement
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 2 - 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.
