About the Team
The Senior Services Sales Manager role will be part of the Services Sales team at Nutanix, located in Bangalore. This dynamic team is dedicated to driving revenue and services growth across enterprise, public sector, and commercial accounts. The team's culture is characterized by collaboration, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to customer engagement. Their mission is to deliver complex Nutanix Professional Services solutions that not only meet the evolving needs of clients but also drive business outcomes in hybrid cloud, modernization, and data center transformation domains.
You will report to the Hiring Manager, who fosters a collaborative environment that encourages team members to both articulate service offerings effectively and understand the technology behind them. The manager values a blend of technical capability and sales skills, creating a space where input is welcomed and adjustments are made based on market trends. This is a hybrid role, requiring the new hire to work from the office a few days a week to ensure close collaboration with the team and client interactions.
This role involves approximately 30% required travel, primarily for client engagements and to collaborate with account executives and systems engineers. Travel will enhance the ability to develop tailored service solutions and foster strong relationships with customers and partners across various regions.
Your Role
- Drive revenue and services growth by selling Nutanix Professional Services solutions to enterprise, public sector, and commercial accounts.
- Collaborate with account executives, systems engineers, and delivery teams to develop tailored service offerings that meet customer needs.
- Engage in strategic territory planning and whitespace analysis to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Lead negotiation and pricing strategies, ensuring accurate forecasting and pipeline governance.
- Conduct customer meetings to extract requirements and present comprehensive service solutions.
- Foster collaboration within the team and cross-functional partners, emphasizing proactive customer engagement.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales quotas while maintaining strong relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders.
- Enhance personal knowledge of Nutanix's technology stack and develop skills in articulating service offerings for effective engagement.
What You Will Bring
- 7–10+ years of experience in enterprise services sales, consulting sales, or complex solution selling.
- Advanced skills in territory planning, whitespace analysis, pricing strategy, and negotiation.
- Strong domain knowledge in cloud/hybrid cloud, virtualization, data services, and AI infrastructure.
- Proven ability to exceed services quotas in hybrid cloud or data center transformation domains.
- Executive-level communication skills and experience in value-based selling and deal orchestration.
- Experience in selling multi-workload service packages and managing Day 2 offerings.
- Understanding of delivery governance and risk mitigation in service engagements.
- Ability to articulate service offerings and their impact on technology while working collaboratively with technical teams.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
