About the role 

An exciting immediate opportunity for a Storeperson to join our established Stores team based in our Sydney plant. This position will work nights - 21:45 - 06:00 & will join a team who are the success behind our Production professionals. You will support the management of the inventory of stock (incoming goods, finished goods and raw materials) in the warehouses and storage facilities for production processes and the continued smooth operation of the business. Responsibilities:

  • Receive, receipt and put away deliveries in the warehouse
  • Set up and transfer temporary structures 
  • Manage, consolidate and clear materials in the warehouse 
  • Manage rubbish and recycling of the production plant  
  • General house cleaning of the work area  
  • Collaborate and liaise with other departments as needed 
  • Pick jobs for production & procurement  
  • Operate power tools and machinery (e.g. forklifts)  
  • Perform manual labor tasks 
  • Data entry, customer service and record keeping  
  • Maintaining tools and equipment 
  • Erect warning signs (e.g. signposts, cones) for vehicles and pedestrians.

About you 
  • Proficiency using a windows based personal computer 
  • Experience in a warehouse environment and working with raw materials 
  • Forklift licence either a reach truck or standard sit in 
  • Problem solving acumen and trouble shooting abilities 
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a collaborative team
  • Attention to detail skills 
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 10kgs regularly and stand for long periods
  • Physically capable to regularly twist, bend and capable of high reaching  
  • Conduct manual handling tasks 
  • Knowledge of FIFO principles desirable but not essential 
  • Experience using RF scanning and using CERM desirable but not essential 
  • Your natural working style is with a sense of urgency 
  • Flexible & adaptable to change
  • Good organisational and time management skills 
  • High regard for safety
  • Must have reliable transport
