We are seeking to appoint a Business Development Manager who will drive and grow the sales of Healthcare Sector (Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Veterinary and OTC)in the UK & Ireland and exploit any other opportunities that arise in Europe working with the EMEAA Sales Team. Targets to be agreed however our expectation is to grow 3% above market growth rates.       
       
This will be achieved by working with the Regional SLT to develop and execute the Healthcare Strategy. Work with the site teams to position the BU to meet the needs of the market to supply Pharmaceutical & HLC products, including guidance on the compliance.       
       
Follow the business development process from market research, initial meeting, through sampling and quotation, value proposition, proposal writing and presentation, right through to on boarding of new customers. You will need to liaise effectively with estimating, graphic design, customer service and production. This is a multi-site responsibility and the ability to cross sell products and services is important.       

Ultimately, the role holder’s primary objective is to deliver profitable sales growth within the Healthcare Sector, the secondary objective is to identify other MCC label business opportunities that arise whilst pursuing this.       

Experience (Work):

  • ·      Previous business development management experience (E)
  •        Healthcare Sector Knowledge in two or more markets: Medical Device, Pharma Rx,       Consumer Health such as OTC and VMS (E) 
    
  •         Ability to manage new business opportunities from start to finish, whilst working       accurately  and ensuring deadlines are met (E)
  •         Proactive and able to prioritise workload, manage diary and work on own initiative (E)
  •   Excellent written and verbal communication skills (E)
  • ·       An ambassador and Team Player for MCC (E)   
  •   Experience in printing/manufacturing industry (P)   
Experience (Software):

  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows (E)   
  • A skilled user of Microsoft Office packages (E)   
  • Experience of a CRM system such as Salesforce (P)
