New Business Intake Data Analyst - Evenings/Weekends
King & Spalding, a leading global law firm, seeks a weekend and/or night New Business Intake & Conflicts Analyst to join our Conflicts & Business Review department. The New Business Intake & Conflicts Analyst will be responsible for identifying and resolving conflicts of interest and business relationship issues. The New Business Intake & Conflicts Analyst will research potential clients and involved parties from external and internal sources in connection with new and existing firm matters, reviewing conflict reports for potential ethical conflicts of interest and business issues, escalating any conflicts of interest for further review and resolution in accordance with Firm policy, reviewing engagement letters and informed consent letters, and communicating with lawyers and staff as necessary. This position offers remote work as an option, subject to location approval by the firm. As a global 24/7 law firm, the firm is seeking a New Business Intake & Conflicts Analyst to work Saturdays and/or Sundays, as well as night shifts, as part of their regular schedule.

Successful candidates will have the following skills and responsibilities:
- Reviews and analyzes conflict search results, requests additional and updated reports as needed, researches corporate affiliations, and identifies conflict or relationship issues related to new business intake.
- Works with Conflicts & Ethics Attorneys in the clearance of new matters as needed.
- Requests ethical screens and conflict alert notices as appropriate.
- Researches potential new and existing clients for compliance with firm goals and policies.
- Other duties may be assigned by the Associate Director of New Business Intake and Director of Conflicts & New Business Intake.
Candidates must have excellent oral and written communication skills,, as well as exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The right candidate must have sound judgment, intellectual curiosity, and be able to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment. The candidate must exhibit a demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities, meet deadlines, and manage a heavy workload. Conflicts experience preferred, although not required. Must have a working knowledge of the rules of professional conduct.
