KORE Power is hiring a Vice President of Sales to support KORE Power’s growth. The Vice President of Sales will Manage a team of Sales Manager and Application Engineers which will work hand in hand to find to find solutions to customers’ EV and energy storage needs.  The Vice President of Sales will develop customers and partnerships for KORE Power’s battery energy storage solution and eMobility solution to include utilities, wind, solar and storage developers and IPPs, energy storage integrators, EPC firms and all eMobility providers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage the Sales teams to deliver profitable growth
  • Build out metrics, activity, and process to track Sales team’s goals and deliver on targets
  • Lead sales team to develop plans and strategies (design, planning, execution) to develop business and achieve individual and company sales goals
  • Build and manage relationships with EV Companies and Charging Companies and other firms within the Energy Storage market
  • Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback
  • Represent KORE Power at industry conferences
  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
  • Ability to meet or exceed sales quotas on a quarterly basis for Sales team
  • Develop system of lead qualification and organization of activities to support relationships with partners and potential partners
  • Help team to create network of strategic partners, seeking out beneficial partnerships that will increase company market share and/or profitability, distributors, channel partners, joint ventures, M&A, etc.
  • Identify and analyze new markets or alternative go-to-market strategy aligned with company’s existing products or capabilities
  • Understand Regulatory frameworks that enable the analysis of new business opportunities or alternative GTM strategy
  • Scout technologies that may enable new products or competitive advantages to company
  • Provide market inputs to Product Management.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to establish successful support, channel and partner programs and ensure KORE Power is presented properly
  • Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners to develop key relationships
  • Utilize Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite and other applications
  • Ability to travel greater than 50%

Skills and Qualifications - Required:

  • 10 years of progressive leadership experience in Technical Sales and Business Development
  • 3+ years of experience within the Renewable Energy industry is preferred
  • 2+ years of experience within the Electric Vehicle space
  • Experience working with Utilities, Microgrid solution providers, Developers, IPPs, Integrators and EPC firms
  • A proven track record of building and leading high performing sales teams
  • Experience managing key customer relationships and ability to close strategic opportunities
  • Exceptional Communication Skills (both verbal and written)
