Job Overview    

     

We are currently seeking a skilled Human Resources Generalist and People Partner to join our HR team and contribute to our continued growth. As a Human Resources Generalist and People Partner at KORE Solutions, you will play a vital role in supporting employees, managers, and the Director of HR. In this role, you will be responsible for helping to oversee the full employee lifecycle and end-to-end human resource management. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience and knowledge in compliance management, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, employee experience and engagement, compensation and benefits, and occupational health and safety.     

     

Essential Functions and Responsibilities    

  • Help build HR infrastructure while partnering on organizational development plans.
  • Partner with the Director of HR and the management team at KORE Solutions to implement proactive and positive employee relations strategies and initiatives that align with business objectives to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Director of HR on the development and execution of department goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate and manage the recruitment process to support hiring plans, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting initial screenings, and facilitating interviews.
  • Conduct orientation and onboarding sessions for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the company.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of HR databases and filing systems.
  • Work with the Safety Officer and Quality Manager - maintain OSHA logs, process occupational health and safety claims, and collaborate on and assist with safety programs. 
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures; ensure compliance with employment laws and best practices; complete compliance filings (ACA, EEO-1, etc.).
  • Create, update, and maintain job descriptions.
  • Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other related initiatives; respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits and provide necessary information.
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from employees and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the Director of Human Resources.
  • Participate in employee disciplinary meetings and investigations when appropriate.
  • Administer, manage, and track employee leaves, including FMLA.
  • Respond to and manage requests for reasonable accommodation.
  • Oversee the performance management process, providing guidance to managers and employees.
  • Assist in developing and implementing training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct exit interviews and manage the employee offboarding process.
  • Prepare reports for internal and external audits.
  • Assist, collaborate on, and lead ad hoc HR projects and initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    

Reports To    

     

The position will report to the Director of Human Resources.    

     

Qualifications    

  • A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resources role and at least one year as an HR Generalist is preferred. SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to actively promoting and contributing to an inclusive workplace.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to be flexible, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing work priorities.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Maintains a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Comfortable navigating through cloud-based applications and online portals.
  • Experience with Payroll and HRIS systems (Paylocity experience is a plus).

Physical Requirements    

  • Ability to communicate orally.
  • Hearing and vision within normal ranges, with or without corrective lenses or an assisted hearing device.
  • Good manual dexterity.
  • No heavy lifting is expected.

Work Environment    

  • The job is primarily performed indoors in a traditional office setting.
  • Extended periods of sitting and extensive work at a computer.
