We are looking for an energetic and motivated Intern to join our creative, dynamic team at KORE Power! The Project Coordinator Intern will be an integral part of our Project Management Office and will contribute to the successful execution and delivery of the KOREPlex Manufacturing Facility. This role is a great launching pad for those seeking to further develop their career in Project and Program Management.
This role is not open to relocation, and must be done either in the Greater Phoenix area or Coeur d'Alene, ID.
Responsibilities
- Project Coordinator will assist in facilitation of project work with oversight from project/program manager.
- Help build and maintain the integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
- Help Area Leads build out department and functional area schedules that roll up into the IMS.
- Manage changes against project schedule and identify impact on the other program workstreams.
- Successfully manage dependencies and constraints.
- Assists with the collection and creation of key project/program artifacts.
- Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings.
- Help support communication activities such as: presentation materials, status reports, project trackers.
- As a Project Coordinator, you will build partnerships across organizational, departmental, and geographical boundaries.
Qualifications
- Working towards a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Management, Organizational Development, Computer Science, Construction, or other related technical discipline is preferred.
- Familiarity with project principles and methodologies.
- Strong Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency.
- Basic understanding of WBS and Scheduling methodologies is preferred.
- Experience with Scheduling software is preferred.
- Positive team player who seeks the collective success of the team.
- Exceptional collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a very fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Proven ability to think critically, analyze effectively, and communicate confidently.
- Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Desire to work full time in clean energy upon graduation.
Physical Demands: This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.
