Position Overview:

KORE Power, Inc. is seeking a Global VP of Business Development to work with our global teams and partners to continue to expand our rapid growth around the world. The Global BD VP will be someone who brings a proven track record in successfully leading business development and global growth that focuses on international markets. This person will bring a blend of “deal management”, strategic thinking, international business acumen and marketing skills.

Specifically, he/she is responsible for identifying business opportunities globally for KORE Power.  Other responsibilities include marketing KORE’s core strengths to partners, fostering and developing new partnerships, and closing partnership and deals globally.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate as a core member of the senior management team to foster a BD oriented culture across the organization.
  • Represent the company to potential global partners and lead discussions on possible partnership and joint ventures.
  • Work with senior management team to coordinate and collaborate so that BD is integrated in the fabric and everyday functions at KORE.
  • Lead the reviewing, updating, developing where necessary, documenting, and implementing proposal development templates, resource tools and forms.
  • Develop and implement a seamless BD process that is clearly communicated and understood by all.
  • Review bid processes regularly, identify gaps, and increase efficiencies.
  • Serve as the proposal manager for the proposal strategies, teaming agreements, and technical portions or submissions including drafting corporate capabilities, branding and marketing plans, and other corporate documents.
  • Conduct after-the-fact analysis of proposal development to find opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate teaming agreements, subcontracts, and other institutional agreements with partners.
  • Prepare and present formal presentations to prospective clients based on their needs.

 

Qualifications

  • Masters’ degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience in global management and business development activities
  • 5-10 years of global sales experience
  • 5+ years of ESS, Li Battery or similar market experience
  • Overseas experience
  • Experience leading and supporting new business efforts
  • Experience in developing global business plans that include partnerships and joint ventures
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Advanced project management skills
  • Well-organized, attentive to detail, skilled in setting priorities and meeting deadlines, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Works well independently and in teams; proactive in anticipating work requirements and problem solving
  • Ability to travel 25-50% of time
