Job Title: Measurement Lead

 

About the Client & Team

The Measurement Lead will operate across our Global and European account teams dedicated to adidas. Our role as the Global account team is to serve our markets, operating as one global network, ensuring world-class integrated-media management is developed, communicated, implemented, measured, and improved upon. Ultimately, we are tasked with delivering a greater comms impact on adidas’s marketing and hitting Global business goals. We enable our Global network to get ahead of the game with planning and organisation by providing strategic guidance, frameworks, governance, and digital and platform guidance. We drive the integrated-media agenda, ensuring a balance between (long-term) brand and (short-term) e-commerce. Raising the bar for the network in terms of better media practice, consistency in approach, aligned measurement, and faster-centralised learning. Our team is designed to reduce complexity in an ever more fragmented marketplace. Ensuring that our network is clear, integrated, and focused on business growth.

The Role:

As part of the global and European account teams working on adidas, you will focus on developing and driving best-in-class measurement and analytics from the center. The hybrid role is new to the group and is designed to enhance the flow of strategic guidance around measurement principles, practices, and the governance necessary to ensure data-driven decision-making at the global and local levels.

The In this role, you will:

  • Become the client’s trusted partner in determining and leading the measurement agenda through appropriate measurement approaches and analytics solutions.
  • Be responsible for the day-to-day running of global and European measurement and analytics including the management and enhancement of frameworks and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the wider account team and local teams to foster measurement and analytics community, thought leadership, knowledge sharing, quality product, and delivery.
  • Identify and support the Global and European measurement team’s skill development and career growth.
  • Oversee adherence to global analytics best practices (including digital governance and hygiene e.g., naming convention adherence) and further develop this guidance as requirements evolve.
  • Work with the analytics teams to produce insight-driven reports that provide the client with key actions to improve their business whilst maintaining technical excellence.
  • Provide central expertise and local support for the application of the agreed measurement framework that all plans in all markets.
  • Contribute to, champion, and facilitate the cohesive global-local Test and Learn Agenda
  • Work Globally and Locally through test and learn agenda to build a body of effective learnings for sharing (best practice cases, benchmarks, insights, and recommendations)
  • Engage with internal and external modelling teams to ensure the best quality data and insightful output (presentation of findings, recommendations, and requirements).

  • Client and agency acknowledgment of positive impact, successful implementation, and value of the measurement programme.
  • Achieve consistently high client evaluation scores.
  • Demonstrably digital and data-centric, analytical, and output-focused: a proven advocate of data-driven planning.
  • Understand the balance of driving sales growth and brand health outcomes.
  • Positive improvements in campaign outcomes
  • Receive positive feedback from your internal stakeholders.
  • Increased connectivity across Global Infrastructure

 

Essential Skills:

  • Knowledge & Experience:
  • Strong team player: energetic and fearless in striving for personal, team, and business performance
  • Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail
  • Media experience to enable contextualisation of data analysis to media and marketing challenges.
  • Practical experience of the principles of MMM and its application
  • Ability to clearly articulate challenges and solutions to technically minded colleagues and clients in addition to delivering strong guidance to local EssenceMediaCom and adidas teams.
  • A can-do attitude and taking ownership of responsibilities.
  • Ability to present confidently and energetically to clients and colleagues.
  • A proven track record of account or project management, preferably within an agency and across multiple markets
  • An analytical mind, always questioning the data and outcomes.
  • A drive to learn, improve, and build knowledge across all areas of the business.
  • Be ambitious, determined, and self-motivated.
  • Proficient with one or more programming languages (Python, Java, C++ etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience in applying data science methods to real-world data problems,
  • Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis
