Immigration Specialist
Description
Key Purpose of the Job:
As an Immigration Specialist, you will oversee all aspects of the immigration process and will be responsible for communicating with employees, gathering application documents, reviewing files, and submitting applications.
You will be responsible for an array of business immigration cases from inception to resolution and provide industry-leading service to employees by offering timely and clear immigration support.
You will be required to follow the outlined company-developed onboarding and processing workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a consistent support to our employees by providing legal support and strategy right from the initiation to completion of process.
- Prepare and file initial submissions, re-submissions, of forms, responses and suggestions.
- Effectively communicate and provide regular updates to employees at all levels of the process.
- Improving the process by active and regular inputs/ modifications.
- Stay updated with the latest changes in the immigration related laws, international
- Managing the travel/stay and ensuring a good experience for the employees traveling from abroad.
- Working closely with the HR and Engagement teams to coordinate for various inhouse activities.
- Be the SPOC for the management for internal arrangements during various travel/ important meeting and other such important occasions.
Must have:
- 8+ year of business immigration experience as an Immigration Specialist
- Good reasoning, decision-making and communication skills.
- Should be able to function independently and limited handholding.
Nice to have:
- Experience of leading entire Immigration team and process in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of immigration process for countries like - US, UK, Canada, Australia, and Spain.
