Les producteurs délégués de DNEG fournissent et adaptent un plan détaillé pour la livraison d'un projet au producteur des effets visuels, aux superviseurs et aux artistes.Vous planifierez les ressources avec le producteur des effets visuels, les superviseurs et les chefs de département pour créer une approche efficace du travail des effets visuels, à court et moyen terme. De solides compétences en communication sont appréciées pour ce poste, car vous devrez communiquer les objectifs et les échéances des séquences et des projets de r&d à l'équipe des effets visuels, en travaillant avec les coordonnateurs pour vous assurer que l'échéancier soit bien respecté.
Qualifications

- Expérience avec Microsoft Office, en particulier Excel

Along with the SPM, Producer and Supervisors, Line Producers are jointly responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of the project. They play a mission critical role in a Show schedule’s successful realization on the floor.
- Collaborate with the Senior Production Manager (SPM) to align department schedules with client milestone dates and weekly quotas.
- Ensure that the schedule meets both internal and client delivery expectations.
- Plan and present a schedule every Wednesday for the next three weeks, focusing on current and upcoming week targets.
- Communicate these targets across departments for transparency and alignment.
- Identify resourcing needs and potential delays.
- Work with the Show Production Manager and Supervisors to find workarounds, propose reassignments, and align resource availability with client delivery schedules.
- Collaborate closely with Department Coordinators and Managers to ensure timely delivery of department assignments.
- Continuously update notes and track the status of client milestones.
- Provide status summaries for the current week and the next three weeks based on department feedback.
- Attend daily sessions with the Show Supervisors (VFX, DFX, CG) to relay client targets and provide feedback to Department Coordinators.
- Identify critical points in the production schedule that could affect multiple shots.
- Manage dependencies to keep the overall production schedule on track.
- Oversee comprehensive schedules for assets and shots, focusing on the next 3-4 weeks while maintaining an overview of tasks beyond that timeframe.
- After client review sessions, collaborate with Supervisors and the production team to adjust notes and schedules.
- Provide additional support to the Producer/SPM for the bidding process and change orders.
- Line Producers are expected to mentor coordinators, fostering a collaborative environment and empowering them to work independently while providing guidance and constructive feedback when necessary.
- Proven experience working as a Line Producer within a production driven environment at a VFX studio
- Strong vocal and written communicator.
- Proven experience of scheduling, meeting deadlines and adapting to changing timelines.
- Stellar and proven knowledge of the VFX Feature Film production pipeline, and the functions of the relevant departments within the pipeline.
- Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience in working with databases, such as Autodesk Shotgrid/Grid/Flow.
- Experience in managing artists and production coordinators.
- Diploma or equivalent education
- Aptitude for learning new software and interest in keeping up with the ever changing technological landscape.
- HTML / Wiki/Confluence skills
- Prior experience with Previs / Postvis / Techvis
- Onset Experience
