BI Developer
Description
Design and maintain different reports in Spotfire.
Design and implement logical and physical data models based on technical and functional
requirements.
Participate in work stream planning processes including inception, technical design, development,
testing and the delivery of Analytics solutions.
Consult with other report developers and BI analyst around their reporting data requirements and
assist in technical design, and performance troubleshoots.
Create easy-to-follow IT documentation for installation and configuration of applications, roadmaps,
instructions, root cause analysis, change records, etc.
Help design and maintain our internal Data Warehouses
Design and maintain ETL pipelines consolidating different data sources into the internal application
structure
Must have
2+ years’ experience in a BI Developer (or similar) role
Exposure to (Tibco) Spotfire, Power BI or another BI tool.
Experience in Databases, Relational and Non-relation: Postgres, SQL server, Elasticsearch
Experience in writing and optimizing SQL queries and scripts
Experience in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing concepts
Experience in agile methodology and scrum process
Fluent in English
Nice to have
Experience programming in Python/IronPython/html/css.
Experience with Data pipeline tools Apache Airflow
Experience in creating ETLs: any tool such as - Informatica, Pentaho, Spark, SSIS (DTS)
Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets
Experience in Server Maintenance/Upgrade/Migration (Windows and Unix)
