Creature Supervisor
Description
- Proven high-end feature film VFX experience, featuring major creatures/characters on multiple projects
- Thorough knowledge of most areas of creature specialisation (Rigging, Muscle/Skin simulation, Cloth and Hair/Fur simulation)
- Full working knowledge of Maya
- Need to be comfortable with the more technical aspects of creature work, and have strong, critical visual and artistic skills
- Familiarity with pipeline issues and a typical creature heavy post production environment
- Strong leadership qualities with proven ability and experience supervising teams
Nice to have
- Programming or scripting skills (MEL, Python, VEX)
- Experience with Ziva, Houdini and USD
- Experience creating crowd simulations
- Organised, pro-active and a self-starter
- A team player and clear communicator, and a keenness for collaboration
- A team leader, approachable and personable, with strong motivational qualities
- Adaptable and with a willingness to learn new skills and techniques – including proprietary software
- Calm under pressure and committed to meet production deadlines
- A positive, can-do attitude
