Position Summary:

Our ideal candidate is someone with strong ecommerce skills, a broad business acumen, and a general manager mindset. You will create, execute and optimize eCommerce marketing strategies that will engage, inform and motivate our consumers.  You will define overall strategies and develop a best-in-class Ecommerce plan driving significant and profitable business growth. This position will work cross functionally to ensure consistency in messaging and strategy while leading execution of strategic pillars across all aspects of the business including: P&L management, business planning, promotional/marketing campaigns and other online marketing, customer service, analytics and technologies. You will act as the internal expert with strong knowledge of Digital and specifically Ecommerce in terms of business model, operations and processes. This position will play a key role in the future success of our Digital business.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic Ecommerce and site merchandising plan and content strategy to drive sales and conversion growth, grow customer acquisition, support the product buy, and drive the Cuisinart brand.
  • Spearhead all related Ecommerce business functions including P&L, promotions, forecasting, contract negotiations, and financial performance.
  • Partner with the marketing team and external agencies on digital marketing and acquisition campaigns and strategies for our Ecommerce sites. Knowledge of the following is a must: Display, Remarketing, SEO, SEM/PPC, Social advertising and other tactics tied to lower funnel initiatives to help support Sales targets.
  • Partner with Digital Marketing team, implement and deploy email campaigns and Site content updates while analyzing/ refining campaigns based on performance data and results
  • Interpret and react to site KPI’s and communicate how the content and product strategy is contributing to overall business and sales goals – while providing weekly and monthly report updates
  • Explore the post-transaction user experience with the goal of increasing customer satisfaction and lifetime value, knowledge of Loyalty Marketing tactics are a plus
  • Collaborate with internal team members from the Marketing, Product, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain and Digital teams on projects and optimizations
  • Shop competitor’s sites to identify trends and opportunities

 Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • Min 6 years of relevant experience, including 3+ years of e-commerce management experience
  • Strong experience with SEO
  • Strong project management skills
  • Understanding of integrating 3rd party tech partners such as Bazaarvoice, Salsify, and Registria
  • Excellent analytical and technical knowledge with digital marketing tools, such as, digital content management, SEM/PPC, Google Analytics, Google/Bing Merchant Center, Google AdWords, Social Ads, Amazon Marketing Services, etc.
  • Previous experience with ecom and content management software, such as Optimizely (CMS platforms), Sales Force Commerce Cloud
  • Detail-orientated, conceptual, and strategic thought leader with ability to develop strategies, tactics and measurable implementation in line with opportunities and changes within the market
  • Curiosity for new technologies and emerging digital marketing trends
  • Solid financial acumen with exceptional Excel, data analysis, and data manipulation skills
  • Interpersonal skills and strong customer relationship skills
  • Expertly manage many relationships, both internally and externally
  • Familiarity with email marketing tools, such as Acoustic

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time
  • Must be Covid-19 vaccinated.
  • We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; candidate must be willing to come into the Stamford office 50% of time.
