What You’ll Do:

The Regional Production Manager is responsible for managing the relationship and communication between our builder partner and Inspire Home Loans.  This position has direct oversight and management of the backlog of business and the loan pipeline for the region. Responsible for operational excellence and regulatory compliance as it relates to the origination of mortgage loans for the team.  Attends weekly backlog with Century Communities, with a strong focus on application and closing capture metrics. Provides daily supervision, support, and oversight to ensure timelines are met, customer service standards are exceeded, workload priorities are established, and problems/exceptions are resolved

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

• Thorough understanding of mortgage loan documentation, mortgage loan processing, closing, underwriting requirements and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to read and analyze AUS findings, research guidelines and collaborate to find solutions to challenging loan situations.
• Pipeline Management and Quality Control; monitor and manage the timeliness and quality of the mortgage pipeline.
• Work with processing, underwriting, secondary marketing, closing and the leadership team to ensure loans meet compliance standards and close on time.
• Work with loan officers and branch managers on escalated, and/or difficult loans.
• Assigns, directs, coordinates, and reviews work of staff to ensure performance metrics are met for each loan officer and division.
• Responsive to the builder and their needs to ensure the customer is satisfied.
• Be the mortgage expert for the region.
• Clear understanding of the entire loan origination/processing life cycle.
• Attending weekly backlog meetings and other Builder Leadership meetings, as requested.
• Travel as needed to the branches in the region.  Occasional travel to leadership meeting as necessary.
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned.

What You Have:

• Extensive understanding and advanced knowledge of mortgage technology. Experience in Captive Builder Loan / Mortgage Experience required.  Blend, Encompass, and Optimal Blue.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail oriented, time management and organizations skills.
• Advanced knowledge of State and Federal mortgage lending laws and regulations to include, but not limited to: Fair Lending, HMDA, ECOA, TILA, RESPA, FCRA, Fraud Prevention, SAFE Act.
• Knowledge of loan products to include Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and state bond programs.

Your Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business-related experience. Advanced degree or CMCP, a plus.
• Must have 5+ years of mortgage related experience, to include production, underwriting, operations.
• 3+ years’ experience with loan originations required.
• 3+ years of supervisory or management experience with regional responsibilities.
• Experience reviewing AUS findings; finding alternative solutions as needed per Agency guidelines.
