Operations Specialist
Description
- Print and assemble packets of material for construction field and coordinate sending them out.
- Maintain all document management, create and upload documents to different programs.
- Build-Pro administration.
- Assist with starts and the permitting process.
- Review inventory homes when submitted by Sales, for accuracy and repeatability within communities.
- Submit check requests to Accounts Payable for processing.
- Process Land Development purchase orders.
- Floorplan development interface between architect engineers and division.
- Collaboration and teamwork on interiors projects, including programming, design development, and documentation.
- Develop space planning concepts and generate program documents.
- Participate in developing and producing CAD plans, elevations, and construction drawing sets.
- Procurement and management of internal material, catalogs, and sample library.
- Research and write specifications for all finish materials, lighting fixtures, window treatments, paint schedule, custom builds, and trim treatments. Measure for drapery.
- Coordinate and document design details with corporate design team.
- Assemble flat-packed or similar furniture pieces using basic tools.
- Set and meet tight deliverable schedules based on department deadlines.
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
- Project Management & coordination of tasks, prioritize deadlines, and coordinate resources for timely project execution.
- The ability to work cohesively and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous Knowledge of Purchasing, Contracts, and Permitting.
- Team player, motivated, task-oriented, adaptable, problem solver, attention to detail, quick learner with excellent organizer skills.
- An upbeat and can-do personality with a passion for the new homebuilding industry.
- An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience within the design industry.
- At least 2-3 years of design industry experience with a preference for model home or home staging experience.
- Please be prepared to present your portfolio/samples of related work.
- Proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or Sketchup is required.
- Familiarity with NewStar, BuildPro, or SupplyPro.
- Experience or familiarity with applying for building permits.
- Must be a licensed driver with a reliable vehicle for transporting merchandising inventory and conducting site visits.

Century intends to offer the selected candidate within the range stated; final offer will be based on a variety of factors including experience. Base pay range of $33.65-$40.87 per hour plus an annual bonus, commission, sales bonus, occasional incentive, or quarterly bonus, whichever is applicable.
