Corporate Land Analyst

What You’ll Do:
The Corporate Land Analyst assists the Corporate VP of Land and other team members in the department, to guide deals through the Lot Committee process within Century Complete, as well as any deals being presented to the Century Communities’ Asset Management Committee approval process.
The weekly Lot Committee review incorporates tracking deals through assigned division as they are prepared for each week’s Lot Committee, as well as providing review of lot books, and helping the assigned regional team track each deal’s progress. During Lot Committee calls, this position should be taking notes on Committee questions, comments, and make special note of any Conditions placed on an approval.
Additionally, this position will assist in the preparation of AMC books for review by the Century Communities Lot Committee (AMC). This includes tracking the submission dates and ensure deadlines are hit and work the Century Communities corporate land team in this effort.
Candidates should be solid written communicators with experience writing and editing memos. Additionally, they should be highly organized and have experience with cash flow proformas.
Your Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assist in the planning and tracking of deal flow for weekly Lot Committee meetings.
- Review Lot Books with Regional teams to ensure quality of lot book.
- Work with Regional teams on any AMC books, helping prepare and track for on time delivery of books.
- Create Lot Committee Approvals with any conditions.
What You Have:
- An understanding of the home building industry, preferably with at least 2 years of experience in the industry.
- The ability to underwrite and very comfortably work in Excel.
- Effective and professional communication with internal teammates.
- Experience writing and editing memos for executive review.
- Be able to provide effective coaching with internal teammates.
- Organizational aptitude to manage high levels of Lot Books and provide the feedback to teammates in a timely manner.
- The ability to manage many tasks at one time, as well as manage follow up tasks which come up through Lot Books reviews.
- Communicate to senior leadership of the company in clear, concise, and effective formats, in both written and verbal formats.
- Computer skills to work with multiple software programs and electronic communication.
- Capable of managing tight deadlines, promptly addressing changes without disrupting schedules, and managing high volumes of work with minimal supervision.
- The attitude of a positive and dedicated team player who has a strong work ethic and demeanor that fosters customer trust.
- The ability for limited travel.
Your Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related fields is required. A Master's degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience, preferably within the building or commercial real estate industry.
