We are looking for a Partner Development Manager to join the MSP team to help us achieve our ambitious partner acquisition and revenue growth objectives. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities through inbound lead follow up and outbound sourcing efforts within a defined territory. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with potential partners, qualify sales opportunities and close sales.  You will also ensure proper after-sales service and grow the partner relationship within the initial onboarding months. What you’ll be working on:

  • Qualify leads from MSP marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Research and contact potential partners through cold calls and emails
  • Identify partner needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Facilitate sales process including product evaluations and pricing negotiations
  • Close sales and achieve monthly quota
  • Develop and grow new partner relationship within initial onboarding months
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans

What you bring to the role:

  • 5+ years of sales experience
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred but not required
  • BA/BS degree; or equivalent work experience
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
