Weston is looking for a motivated individual to join our team that develops and implements Geospatial Solutions for our clients while working with a team of environmental scientists, geologist, emergency response teams, and engineers that support our contract with the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 9. Duties for this position include various geospatial enterprise tasks that require a working knowledge and implementation of geographic principles, cartography, geoprocessing and spatial analysis, database management, development, and Esri ArcGIS software technology. This Individual will need to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds, both technical and non-technical. Ideal candidates will have a solid understanding of geospatial technologies and expertise with both Esri Desktop and Enterprise software and an interest in producing meaningful geospatial data workflows.  
Location: Pacific Time Zone, preferably 
Primary Responsibilities: 
  • Create and Maintain Enterprise GIS Applications, Projects, and Databases
  • Create and Maintain Visualization Applications in ArcGIS Online with Esri Experience Builder, Hub sites, StoryMaps, and Dashboard Applications
  • Developing ArcGIS Enterprise tools for Field Data Collection, specifically Survey123, Field Maps, and QuickCapture
Required Qualifications: 
  • Bachelors or Associates Degree in Environmental/Earth Sciences, GIS, Geosciences, Geography, Engineering, or Related Sciences or GIS Certificate preferred
  • 5+ Years of Professional GIS Experience
Proficient with: 
  • Esri ArcGIS Pro
  • Esri Experience Builder, StoryMaps, Hub Sites, and Dashboard Applications
  • ArcPy and ArcGIS API for Python
  • Enterprise Geodatabases
  • SQL and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
  • Understanding of GPS Technology, Map Projections, and Spatial Data Transformations
  • Work Collaboratively in a Team with the supervision of a Senior Team Member/Project Manager
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communications Skills
Preferred Qualifications:  
  • Experience with Qlik
  • Ability to publish and manage map, feature and geoprocessing services using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Server Manager
  • Experience with ArcGIS Online Field Maps and Survey123 Connect
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerApps
  • Programming Experience in JavaScript or Arcade
  • Geodata manipulation using Open-Source Python/R Libraries
  • Power BI, Graph Database, or other analytical data visualization software experience
  • Spatial data science coursework or experience.

Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.

Salary Range: $51,700 - $68,900 - $86,000
