Responsibilities
  • The Technical Project Manager maintains consistent involvement with clients from project initiation to post-completion.  This role is also a key resource to assist existing clients in migrating to our modernized platform; it is critical to ensure our customers stay current on supported platforms to allow them to receive updates to the Tyler software applications.
  • Limited scope, self-contained projects that are fully managed and performed by the Technical PM from initiation to closeout, including Resource Prep
  • Strategic or focused subsets of larger scale initiatives that are managed by the Deployment PMO (Example KDE, VALGITE)
  • Subject Matter Expert to assist in the Initiation and Planning of various Deployment Projects
    Assist in the review of new processes or products as they are introduced to ensure thorough and efficient adoption
  • Plan and manage high profile and complex engagements that may span multiple divisions and various products.
  • Develop deployment project plan(s) and coordinate communication with Clients as needed.
  • Coordinate across Tyler Departments and Divisions for Total Tyler Clients to provide seamless Deployment coordination
  • Obtain regular feedback from clients and other stakeholders regarding project status and quality of service and take immediate corrective action as required.
  • Conduct high-level discussions with existing Enterprise ERP clients and provide technical options for deployment services
  • Coordinate with PMO Operations to prepare and/or maintain accurate project tracking and reporting.
Qualifications
  • The ERP & Civic Deployment Team Technical Project Manager is hybrid role of Deployment Project Manager and Deployment Engineer. Ideal candidates for this role will have a combination of technical experience, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and creative problem solving abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or comparable experience.
  • Complete understanding of all existing deployment processes, standards, and SOP’s.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with highly technical and non-technical individuals.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Must have excellent customer service and client relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced, technical environment.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive, professional attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail is required.
